The house eases you into his ways of expression—childhood drawings, doodles, paintings and a snug father-son Koala bear duo, Rajesh and Rakesh. Enter Ritviz Srivastava’s house in the quiet bylanes of Bandra, where he resides in synchrony with his Indian and global personalities, and the house is nothing but an extension of the very same fusionary temperament. The home is a raga in the third prahar testifying to the melody as the golden silhouettes make way for a play of light and shadow. A kangaroo chair idly sits near the big window and as the canine companions testify to the view, the melodious decor is hence complete.

Ritviz wants his basics in place and then the experiments begin from there. Like the kitchen with jars of the chief Indian ingredients, all neatly labelled
and stacked in a row. While the home would be incomplete without his studio, he calls himself a ‘bedroom producer’ as he does most of his work sitting on his bed; and since inspiration can strike anywhere, this sunkissed home is Ritviz’s very own Petri dish for all his musical adventures.
