In the world of media where information bombards us from all angles, finding a moment of respite becomes imperative, especially with this new generation being the flagbearer of hustle culture. A clear thought needs a clean canvas to flourish. With a motto to offer a perfect workspace where every angle motivates one to be creative, Aparna Kaushik of her eponymous practice Aparna Kaushik Design Studio designs the new office in Noida for Media Milestone, a PR agency founded by Deep Gupta and Seema Gupta.

Catering to luxury interior retail brands, architects and interior designers, this space had to top the charts of design and it does so with its geometric lines, grey-toned colours, and perfect lighting — not too less, not too much. Nestled within a 1,000 sq ft commercial complex in Noida, the office underwent minimal structural modifications but witnessed a major interior transformation. Bringing classic aesthetics with contemporary sensibilities to the space that controls the design waves in the industry with its talented staff members becomes imperative.

Inspired by the days gone by

Visitors are greeted by a well-arranged reception area upon entry through double glass doors. Symmetrical desks and concealed storage units define the workspace, fostering an uncluttered environment.

A highlight in the office is the private workspace, secluded behind full glass doors. Here, off-white and beige hues dominate the palette, accented by delicate pastel pinks. “While designing the entire space was special for me, I absolutely loved integrating the fireplace into an office setup. The marble fireplace exudes old-world charm and seamlessly fits into the design aesthetic of Media Milestone’s office” says Aparna Kaushik reflecting her love for the marble fireplace reminiscent of the Victorian era.

The beauty of artistry

In terms of design philosophy, Aparna Kaushik Design Group strikes a balance between classical composition and contemporary flair. Clean lines and minimalist aesthetics permeate the office. While the theme of contemporary classicism remains consistent throughout, the office serves as a canvas for experimentation within this framework, blending luxury, functionality and artistic vision.

The colour palette, dominated by greys and taupe, is chosen to cultivate a collaborative environment. Each design element, from the sleek desks to the concealed storage solutions, reflects the signature style of the design group — a perfect tandem between form and function.

Within these walls, where clean lines converge with subtle hues, the route is marked for creativity to thrive amidst the hustle of the media world, offering a space for clear thoughts and inspiring endeavours.
