The Inspiration
Gritty specks of sand that stick to your skin. A bowl of porridge warming your hands. Our breezy curation for the summer feels like your grandfather’s favourite Khadi kurta softened by age. We’re ageing swathes of ivory in the sun, throwing in a hint of oat and nutty almond, and championing hues that feel lived-in yet fresh!

The Features
Reimagine a sunlit desert dune as a home — and we bet it would look a lot like this sand-hued haven along the Bikaner–Nokha highway. Ajay Arya of A Square Designs has worked closely with Bodhan Majumdar to bring this meditative Scandinavian-inspired holiday home to life. The 24 ft tall living space emulates their approach to the tee, anchored by a real tree that acts as a sculptural highlight. Soft furnishings play foil to organic finishes, creating a visual push-and-pull between these two opposing forces right in the heart of the space.

The Products
Ivory with a hint of oat. Cream with a tinge of sand. Layered together or pulled apart, these breezy neutrals fit into any space with the practiced ease of a chameleon. Pair away!

The Features
Like a meandering river, the Pagdandi shelf by The Wicker Story pulls and twists cane into undulating curves. Akin to a sunlit shore halved and shaped by a water body pulsing through the centre, the shelf’s interwoven surface twists and writhes into a statement piece with both functional and aesthetic appeal. The cane creates minute grooves for sunlight and shadow to ripple across the layered facade, turning it into a dynamic objet ‘d art.
