Founded in 1817 in Hornberg, in the Black Forest, Duravit AG is a leading international manufacturer of designer bathrooms today. In cooperation with high-profile international designers, such as Philippe Starck, Sieger Design, Kurt Merki Jr, Christian Werner, Matteo Thun and Cecilie Manz, the company develops unique bathrooms that enhance the quality of life for users on a consistent, everyday basis. Duravit has teamed up with Sieger design to realise the latest trends in colours, design and finishes for the same. Featuring above the counter washbowls with precise lines, stand-alone consoles and matching semi-tall cabinets with mirrors, Happy D.2 Plus makes use of c-bonded technology and a rounded water edge, while maintaining the archetypical open oval aspect of its classic design.

This series of products makes use of innovative technology with the highest possible precision. The patented c-bonded automation was developed by Duravit to enhance the design requirements in the bathroom. The washbasin is connected almost seamlessly to the vanity unit in a complex process, where material and form merge to form a single unit—producing an exceptionally-sleek washing area. For the first time, c-bonded now comes with a rounded outer edge. The frame is always in the same colour as the vanity unit or matches the metal console in Black Matt. The new and improved Happy D.2 Plus series guarantees that the ceramic washbasin and bathroom furniture run in perfectly parallel lines with no overhang or recess and a precise gap of 4mm, offering you a choice between consoles and vanity units.
