Last week, former Masterchef Australia contestant Sarah Todd played host at the launch of luxury kitchen brand Gaggenau in Mumbai, and it was a party you’d want an invite to. Lucky guests dined at the table of Michelin-starred chef Atul Kochhar from London’s acclaimed Indian restaurant Benaras, who showed off his skills with Gaggenau equipment, with the ovens, hobs and other appliances in action. The live cooking demo ended with a platter of contemporary dishes – we had our eyes on the Chicken Tikka Pie – being served to the guests. Gaggenau comes after its parent company, BSH Household Appliances, launched other popular brands like Bosch and Siemens successfully in India. We’re staying tuned to see what they cook up next.
