When setting up a home office, one often seeks to find a place that is quiet and away from the hubbub of the daily activities of the house. What better place to work from than the library or study?

Build a sanctum inspired by the meeting room in architects Sanjeev Panjabi and Sangeeta Merchant’s atelier in Mumbai. Glass walls serve as adequately soundproof dividers. Unlike a brick and mortar wall, glass provides some amount of fluidity to the divided area by providing an uninterrupted view.

You can utilise an entire wall by turning it into a moodboard – pin up photographs from travels, client messages, reminders, even a road map of a current project. Not only does it liven up the place but it also adds a dash of colour and helps find method in the madness.
