It’s the peaceful abode of Aanam Chashmawala, digital content creator and Founder of Wearified, who enjoys a modern and minimal aesthetic of soothing pastel colours. The majority of the furniture in her house is made from scratch, with a clear vision in the head—that’s how Aanam likes it. Aanam found her home after embarking on a rigorous house hunt. Her east-facing apartment’s golden hour is to die for! Even after living in the house for four years, it makes her pause for a while and admire the golden silhouettes so as to frame the sunset down her memory lane, “I love the way the sunlight hits,” says Aanam.

Living in the same precinct for most of her life, Aanam is extremely attached to the suburb and since her family stays nearby, she specifically wanted her place in the same region. Her love for Mumbai is so unalloyed that all the world’s exotic locations would come second to Pali Hill. The house is best utilised when she and her husband have idle time to spare on Sundays. It is important to establish that although the house may be hers on paper, the real owner of the house is her feline Nibbles, who Aanam fondly refers to as her sixth fur baby.
