The Arch London will pamper you and your furry friends
MAY 8, 2017 | By Nupur Ashok Sarvaiya
Are you a jet-setter with a pet – pet-setter if you may – who considers travelling without your furry friend “barking mad”? Then The Arch London is where your canine companion is going to feel at home. Touted as one of Britain’s best kept secrets, the property is a luxurious Georgian townhouse that sits in the heart of central London.
Owned by AB Hotels and envisioned by UK based RDD Interior Architectural Design, it fuses English heritage with modern boutique design. On entering, a roaring open fireplace provides a warm welcome, while the quietly glamorous interiors boast marble, glass and curated artworks including a moving installation at the reception desk. Airy and spacious with high ceilings, the place houses 82 rooms including 11 sumptuous suites featuring lavish furnishings.
The eatery Hunter 486, christened after the ‘50s dialing code for Marylebone, affords a “Best of British” inspired menu, while The Martini Library lounge exudes an opulent ambience. For your happy hounds, on offer are various indulgences such as dog beds, bowls and even a menu cooked to order by a chef.
