For over 80 years, Italian fashion and design school Istituto Marangoni, originally in Milan, has been teaching and training professionals in the fashion and design industry. Branches in various locations across the globe succeeded the first outlet in Milan– from Firenze, Paris and London to Shanghai and Shenzhen. Now, the school finally makes its way to India with the The Mumbai School of Fashion. On offer is a broad range of long term (24 weeks) and short term (1 week) courses focused on fashion design, fashion business, brand management, fashion buying and more. The warm, minimalist interiors of the new school, located at Ceejay House, Worli are sectioned into two levels, with various classrooms and study areas dedicated to activities like pattern cutting. The highlight for us, however, is that the building faces the sea. We can bet those creative juices won’t fail to flow with a view like that.Where: Ceejay House, F Block, Shivsagar Estate, Dr Annie Besant Rd, Worli, Mumbai 18.
