CLARAVAL

Translating harmonic sound frequencies into sculptural ceramic form through a proprietary algorithm, this piece by Claraval, Castro S. Paio III from the Elements collection, is both coded and crafted. Its compact silhouette in Salt White draws from Portugal’s maritime castro, evoking erosion, sediment and geological time through a textured matte finish.

BROSTE COPENHAGEN

Rendered entirely in glass, the Clara Side Table by Broste Copenhagen foregrounds volume, colour and reflection. Its monolithic form shifts with light, taking on different tonalities across its surface. Available in multiple hues, it operates as both object and surface.

BLOMUS

Softly contoured with a rounded body and narrow neck, the Ceola collection by Blomus presents ceramic vases in restrained palettes. The smooth surface and balanced proportions emphasise clarity of form, where silhouette and tone carry the object, allowing it to sit with ease across different spatial contexts.

ANNA VON LIPA

Emerging from a lineage that traces over six centuries of glassmaking, the Saga Jug by Anna von Lipa, from Collection 611, translates historic Bohemian craft into a contemporary object. Hand-shaped glass carries forward material memory, where time, technique and human touch converge, shaping a form grounded in process and continuity.

CRYSTALEX CZ

Defined by finely etched vertical ribs, the Prisme Pure Line carafe and tumbler set by Crystalex CZ channels glass into a study of alignment and flow. The linear surface creates a sense of movement through restraint, where minimal form and precise detailing shape both use and perception.

ALESSI

An icon of postmodern design, the 9093 Kettle by Michael Graves for Alessi pairs a sculptural stainless steel body with a bird-shaped whistle that signals the boil. Balancing function with visual wit, it brings narrative and character to a utilitarian object without compromising performance.

L’ATELIER DU VIN

Designed as an expressive take on the champagne flute, the Bubbles Celebration Glasses by L’Atelier du Vin foreground colour, form and effervescence. Their sculptural stems and playful tonality heighten the visual presence of rising bubbles, turning tasting into a more animated ritual, accompanied by a presentation box conceived for pairing with a bottle.

SERAX

Sebastian Herkner turns to the wild for inspiration for his lighting collection with Serax. The result? Meet the Uala lamp, crafted out of porcelain pleated to resemble the fanned-out leaves of a licuala grandis plant.

JAGDISH SUTAR, YOUNG TALENT EDIDA INDIA 2025

Heirlooms born anew. Jagdish Sutar’s showcase at Ambiente contained the Stool, a futuristic take on the Indian household staple, and a miniature recreation of the Single Daybed from his EDIDA-winning Objects of Legacy collection. The silver piece-de-resistance is the Grain of Time Bar Cabinet, inspired by Art Deco’s recent centenary — which inspired the sculptural wall sconces on display as well.
