A perch for two designed by reD

It’s truly two birds, one swing, with this contemporary twist on a suspended bench. Designed by Rajiv and Ekta Parekh of reD architects, this unique swing  deftly combines the intimacy of a two-seater with the fluidity of a seater . Echoing a sense of childhood playfulness, this floating bench, crafted using cane and brass, is surrounded by green plants and a backdrop of sheer curtains, culminating in a stylish corner to unwind.

The sways of nature by ma+rs

Vintage brass handrails hang from the ceiling, a pocket of grass stretches below a bench of warm wood, all nestled between white washed walls. This antique swing from Karaikudi for a home in Bengaluru, carefully designed by ma+rs, is an ode to the Tamilian way of life. It has a central courtyard that pours sunlight into the house and a swing that rocks in a rhythmic motion, making for a visually captivating living space.
