California based automobile manufacturer Fisker Inc unveils an environment friendly electric SUV

Christened The Ocean, Fisker Inc’s new launch is a motorist’s dream wrapped up in a sustainable package. The vehicle is equipped with a state-of-the-art battery, where more than 200 miles of range can be delivered from 30 minutes of charging. Supporting the car’s electrical power source, its full length solar roof boosts fuel efficiency and lowers carbon dioxide emissions. The spacious body ensures comfort for both front and rear passengers, even on long road trips.

The all-electric luxury SUV boasts vegan interiors that meet stringent chemical emission limits—with reinforced rayon backing, eco suede for a luxurious feel and repurposed rubber waste, which uses the discarded effluent generated during tire manufacturing that is ordinarily dumped in landfills. Its fully recycled carpeting is made using regenerated nylon, which comes from abandoned fishing net waste pulled out of the oceans.

Inspired by Fisker’s roots and passion for the Southern Californian coastline, it offers the California mode—a patented feature that lowers nine glass panels to open the entire cabin with one touch, creating an open-air feeling, while maintaining a robust roll cage as a safety measure.

It also allows storage of large items by enabling the rear hatch glass to drop so that long items can be placed through the opening, eliminating the need to drive with an open tailgate. California based Fisker Inc.’s new electric SUV dazzles with its smart look and eco-friendly features.
