Ambiente 2016: 10 things to do at the Frankfurt fair

Like every year, Ambiente, to be held from Feb 12-16, will see leading decor brands across the world congregate at Frankfurt for the renowned trade fair. Visitors can spot new and inventive products from world over across three unique categories – Dining, Living and Giving.
Organised by Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH, Ambiente Frankfurt will have a whopping 4,800 exhibitors from over 150 countries this year. Here’s a list of noteworthy sights to spot the fair:1. DiningPrepare a modern kitchen in your home with goods from this pavilion. Everything from pots and pans and plates to hobs, storage and tables can be found under one roof. 2. GivingLevel up your gifting game in a jiffy. For the first time, personal accessories will also be presented in a collective category. Take your pick from accessories and jewellery to leather goods and watches.3. Living If you want an upgraded living room, you must give this hall a visit. Trends for Travellers A new addition this year, it will house all design paraphernalia required by travel and adventure enthusiasts. Talents New talents of various nationalities with their fresh takes and individual sensibilities will be showcasing products in this section. German Design Awards The award for excellence in design is awarded by Rat fur Formgebung/German Design Council at Ambiente. It showcases innovative products by brands that have been curated by London based product designer Sebastian Bergne. 7. Partner Country Celebrated designer Paola Navone will be hosting a special presentation that highlights design which is typically found in Italy –the partner country for Ambiente this year.8.
