On World Colour Day, the introduction of Asian Paints Chromacosm marks a significant shift in how colour is perceived and utilised in architecture and design. With an impressive collection of over 5,300 shades, this ambitious project offers architects and designers a vast spectrum to work with, redefining the role colour plays in shaping environments. Colour has long been known to influence mood and perception, but Chromacosm takes this a step further, enabling a deeper exploration of its emotional and cultural significance.Â
To celebrate this milestone, Asian Paints collaborated with renowned architect and artist Suchi Reddy, founder of the New York-based Reddymade studio. Reddy conceptualised an art installation that captures her interpretation of Chromacosm — a dynamic exploration of the vast universe of colour.Â
