Work, play and live with Vidhi Khandelwal

In the Delhi studio with Founder of the Ink Bucket

It’s day 331/366 in Vidhi Khandelwal’s Ink Bucket journal and today is the day she talks about her studio. The studio is her drawing paper with 450 GSM of comfort and happiness, and just like her stationery, all the spaces are smartly assigned to patterns and colours. Considering the brand’s aesthetics, one can assume that creating illustrations is her occupation but for her, it is nothing less than a way of life and for that, her studio had to be envisioned according to how she thinks and unwinds.

The studio resembles a doodle where not a single colour leaves shape, making it the perfect artwork. With frames, plants and panel mouldings lining the walls as you walk in, the studio seems to be at peace with itself and naturally provides Vidhi with her space, refuge and creativity. With a not-too-aloof yet not-too-closed-off, the decor very quietly encourages the products to shine brighter. When asked to pick between studio and home, she’d always choose both—the workspace with mellow sunlight brushing on her half-done doodles, now that is the environment that reflects in her artwork and we love it!
