Sculptural lights make for interesting decor pieces to spruce up any boring home. Those who favour a minimalistic design temperament may find much appeal with Helmi, a Nordic-style, handcrafted piece peppered with glamorous elegance. For the design, Ian Cameron, founder and creative director of Cameron Design House, borrowed inspiration from a fishing trip in his Finnish hometown of Turku. This world-stopping piece also featured at the London Design Festival 2018. As part of the festival, the company joined forces with Los Angeles-based balloon artist Geronimo to create an immersive light installation in the heart of Shoreditch. British craftsmanship at its finest, Helmi, is designed with a 24 carat gold-plated industrial net displaying a collection of exquisite handblown glass pearls. Each glass pearl is illuminated by a single  LED filament bulb to set a warm ambience as you step into the surrounding space. Effortlessly suspended by the interwoven gold chains, the colossal chandelier is reminiscent of a fisherman’s net. Celebrating sculptural art and light in unison, the bespoke service allows Helmi to be tailored to your desired fit.
