Behold Spring Fables by Sarita Handa

The picturesque Spring Summer 26 collection explores homes as living storybooks

For Spring Summer 2026, Sarita Handa unveils Spring Fables, a collection that reads like a poetic ode to home — an intimate, living storybook shaped by memory, imagination and the quiet magic of everyday spaces. Rooted in the nostalgia of childhood tales, the collection invites us to rediscover the wonder, comfort and sense of belonging that define the places we inhabit.

At its core, Spring Fables transforms interiors into dreamlike landscapes. Botanical prints trail across textiles like wandering vines, while florals bloom in soft abundance, echoing the romance of forests and overgrown gardens. The collection’s visual language is gentle yet evocative, weaving together elements of nature and storytelling to create spaces that feel alive, layered and deeply personal. Crafted in cotton percale, cotton-linen and richly embroidered fabrics, each piece balances softness with structure. The tactile quality of the textiles is complemented by the presence of furniture in wood, stone and glass — materials that introduce a sense of form, proportion and quiet strength. Together, they create interiors that are both refined and comforting, where elegance coexists with ease.

At the heart of the collection lies a simple yet enduring truth: home is where the hero — or heroine — returns. It is a place of restoration, where the day’s journeys dissolve into stillness and where dreams gather their strength. Like stepping into a cherished childhood story, home becomes a sanctuary of warmth and imagination, gently lulling us into a sense of peace and possibility.

Bedspreads & shams

The bedroom becomes the central chapter of this narrative through quilted bedspreads and coordinated Euro shams. Designs such as Victorian Bloom, Morning Song, Floral Blocks, Retreat, Sheer Linen and Maze explore a spectrum of inspirations — from botanical prints and countryside motifs to modern quilting patterns. Crafted using techniques that range from computer quilting to hand quilting and intricate embroidery, these pieces bring depth, texture and understated elegance to contemporary spaces.

Decorative cushions

Across living areas, decorative cushions add layers of storytelling and character. Designs like Garden Spray, Canopy, Frondage, Garden Bug and Robin’s Nest draw from meadow florals, foliage and the delicate presence of garden creatures. Executed through crewel embroidery, adda work, towelling embroidery and loop techniques, they introduce richness and artisanal detail. Balancing these organic expressions are more structured, geometric designs such as Bold Blocks, Brick Cane and Checkered — offering a harmonious interplay between fluidity and form.

Dining textiles

The narrative extends to the dining space with the Bloom Harmony collection of placemats, napkins and table runners. Featuring delicate aari-embroidered florals on cotton single slub, these pieces bring a sense of pastoral charm and quiet refinement to the table, turning everyday dining into a moment of cultivated calm.

Furniture

Complementing the textiles is a thoughtfully curated series of sculptural furniture pieces that anchor the collection in material richness. Crafted from white ash wood, cast glass, stone and metal, each design introduces a distinct sense of presence.
Standout pieces include the fluted GERARD coffee table in toasted walnut, the striking red-lacquered CRESCENT nesting tables topped with Red Levante stone and the carved black SAVAANA side table inspired by African sculptural forms. The ZEN side table, with its delicate cast-glass top, offers a lighter, more ethereal counterpoint. Completing the setting is the HALO armchair, whose curved silhouette and plush upholstery invite comfort and ease, creating a space where the narrative of Spring Fables can fully unfold.

Like every timeless fable, this collection begins with wonder and gently returns us to where we belong. In Spring Fables, home is not just a place — it is a feeling, a refuge and the final page where every story finds its way back.
