Paint your mind! In this Delhi farmhouse, a sort of surrealist automatism seems to take over. The 7,500 sq ft indoors reflect an expressionist temperament that never flinches from the flairs and the ohs! of living. Did pigment call out structure, or did structure pull colour into existence? The question loops endlessly, spinning you into a reverie, where art dictates instead of mere decoration. What emerges then is a home by Attico Homes with volume and a loop of craft in every frame.
“The client envisioned a youthful and vibrant space, where every room would have its own distinct design story and colour palette” — the brief was deceptively simple. The sprawling layout signals the freedom of space in tandem with an art connoisseur’s whimsy. Interpreting it, Principal Designers Parnika Julka and Harshil Kapur of Attico Homes, embroider a home where overhead ceilings bear the craftsmanship of Jaipur, while elsewhere, a swing aligns with vastu.
"We drew significant inspiration from the artistry of Indian craftsmen. The family lounge has a lively, colourful vibe, featuring custom artwork commissioned especially for the couple to reflect their lifestyle"
