Boo! The end of October has crept up on you. As brain-melting as it might seem, party planning can be easy and fun with the right inspiration. This Halloween, we think you should host a spooky dinner for your friends complete with eerie crows, slimy spiders and wicked witches. We’ve got a couple of tricks up our sleeve for a treat your guests won’t soon forget. Go traditional with the colour scheme – you cannot go wrong with black, white and autumn orange. Head outside and scout for dead tree branches and use them to create the ideal Halloween-y ambience. A visit to the party supplies store will throw up great finds – pick spine-chilling accessories like skulls, ravens and creepy crawlies.

If you find monster gloves use them as cutlery holders for an Adams family vibe. Don’t forget to visit the vegetable market and stock up on pumpkins of all sizes to put your carving skills to test. It’s not Halloween without jack-o-lanterns.
