This new game will get architects and designers addicted

JAN 17, 2017 | By Aditi Sharma Maheshwari
When was the last time you played a game that was truly challenging and made you work your mind? We assure this is nothing like Candy Crush, although it can lead to similar addiction! Empty, by a creative studio in Ukraine called Dustyroom, is perfectly suited for architects, designers and anyone who is good at spatial perception.
The rules are simple: You need to remove all the furniture from various brightly coloured rooms. There is no clock or score for this one. By rotating the objects of the same shade, you need to clear the room; once the object isn’t visible, it means it has been removed. To be successful at the game, you need to use spatial reasoning and a strategy – in case you follow the wrong order, you will not be able to continue with the game and will find yourself stuck in a limbo!
We found that while rotating the screen, you can move it 360 degrees and change the dimensions of the room too, to be able to club the furniture with the colour of the space. There can be a time when you find yourself stuck – but we suggest keep at it! Every new level brings with it a new and more interesting challenge.
This game can be downloaded from the developers website or Android, Windows, Mac and iOS and Linux users at a pay what you want price.
