A whopping 100,000 sq ft across seven levels, over 60 brands and 500 plus products…Global Living Emporio is anything but your average mall. Boldly positioned as the country’s biggest shopping destination for high-end and luxurious decor, it is a smartly curated convergence of the best Indian brands as well as some perennial world favourites – from the timeless Moroso and Poltrona Frau, to some of Europe’s best kitchen brands like Miele, Leicht and Pedini.
With this strategic new concept, Sunil Suresh, CEO and Founder of Stanley Lifestyles, wanted to cover an array of different styles to suit the discerning, design conscious consumer; classical to art deco, modern and contemporary to functional at a premium pricetag.
Each of the expansive floors of the six storeyed mall has been labelled and sectioned according to their exclusive offerings. The ground floor, Luxury, features exclusive furniture for living and dining spaces, from brands like Christopher Guy and Scarlet Splendour; then moves up to Premium, that introduces you to fragrances by Locherber from Italy and stunning speakers by French marque Devialet, as well as significant pieces from Moroso among other Italian furniture companies.
While the second floor has “Comfort” products for the mid-range buyer including La-Z-Boy and Hilker loungers, the penultimate platforms display Indian and international bedroom essentials with kitchens from different labels including Bengaluru’s own Oak Tree.
You can also view three new offerings from the parent company: Stanley’s 20th anniversary collection, the Beautiful Living range and Gorsia for Stanley, an exclusive line of premium furniture by American designer Jay Gorsia.“We also have five brands who are licensed with us,” adds Sunil.
“This means these companies manufacture their products in Italy but they are exported to us in a skeleton form. We add the upholstery in custom colours in our own factory. This process ensures shorter delivery time.”
What’s next? Sunil hopes to develop a design-assist team to aid professionals when they browse for their clients and also bring other renowned designers from across the country into the store. And we shall see something in Mumbai and New Delhi soon….
