Look to this desi chic setting for inspiration and make every traditional meal a grand affair. Opt for good ol’ thalis with a subtle facelift – a crescent shaped holder for accompaniments. To lend a more authentic feel, neatly line the plates with banana leaves.
For a table runner and napkins, use a plain all white fabric to offset the glossy metal serveware. Flowers are a must but you don’t have to look far and wide for these. Source small locally found blossoms like the sweet-smelling mogra or jasmine to elevate the dining experience.
