Natuzzi Italia at India Design ID 2016: Stories from the show
MAR 3, 2016 | By Aditi Gaitonde
Natuzzi Group is touted as Italy’s largest furniture manufacturer and leader in leather upholstery. Their expansive product range includes sofas, armchairs, recliners and a bedroom collection with lamps, accessories and wall units. We chatted with Nitin Bahl, Country Manager, India about his time at India Design ID 2016.
Harmony was the main theme of the collection we presented at India Design ID this year. Showcased was Natuzzi Italia’s new collection which included novelties for both the living area and day and night zones. The range’s flagship sofas like Tempo, designed by renowned Italian architects Manzoni and Tapinassi, was also on display. The clearest expression of our brand development is our entry into the area of bedroom furniture. At the booth, we displayed the Onda bed, designed by Claudio Bellini, which combined versatile design and practical function.
Exhibiting at India Design ID 2016India Design ID is an ideal congregation of premium brands, both global and domestic and offers an apt environment to showcase our collections. In a short span of time, ID has emerged as the leading exhibit in the interiors space and has managed to draw both trade fraternity and HNI’s from across the country.
Customers as well as the trade fraternity really appreciated the vibrant colour palettes in natural leathers showcased at our exhibit.
What they loved
It’s the overall vibe at India Design ID that brings back visitors every year. The exhibition was very well curated and offered a glimpse of global as well as domestic design trends. The symposium was a great platform where design icons shared industry insights. I thought it was a great show by the ELLE DECOR team.
Next year at India Design ID
Innovation and style has always been one of the distinguishing features of the brand and it’s a part of our DNA. We will return to ID next year with more optimal and stylistic solutions.
