Muuto is here to give Indian homes a Scandinavian makeover

Functional home decor brand Muuto comes to Mumbai, with foldable lights, stackable shelves and adorable accessories! Hidden away in the lanes of South Bombay, the concept store could be a contemporary Scandinavian home fit into a tiny Mumbai apartment. It may be love at first seat with their tan leather sofa, but don’t swipe left on the others just yet. Customise their Nerd Bar stool and match them with colourful industrial lights, or cuddle up on their fabric seaters. We also enjoyed playing with the enormous soft felt pendant light that hung in the middle of the room, while attempting to knock down their magnetic vases. Encountering the brand in this year’s Salone Del Mobile, Angel Ventures’ husband and wife duo Rajiv Hinduja and Anuja Kimatrai, decided they needed to bring it back with them. “We both envisaged a concept space where the consumer could walk in to find an actual living space that would probably be the size of their apartment. That is what we have attempted to create here in Mumbai,” they said.
