Life is too short for boring tableware. Picture this, piping hot coffee in a handcrafted mug with curves and dents adding a smile to your mornings. Or perhaps, a striking glazed bowl with playful organic edges that become the life of your soirees. And why leave our furry companions behind? They too deserve to dine with style out of soulfully crafted bowls. Lagavi offers a fusion of form and function as a global digital platform that brings designers and creatives from across the world under one umbrella. Founded in 2022 by Raunak and Akshita Mohnot, the philosophy behind the brand hinges on the belief that every object has a story to tell, from geographical origins to the process of creation.

Lagavi presents a selection of mindfully crafted objects that reflect their artistic sensibilities, through a rigorous process of sampling, quality checks, unique techniques and ideation. Catering to a wide variety of spaces from cosy homes to professional workspaces, they imbue personality and panache to the everyday. And what is their secret? Transparency and collaboration. Honest conversations and constant assistance help the numerous international and homegrown brands on the platform achieve their vision through detailed discussions, moodboarding, sampling, deliveries and more.

From architects and interior designers to home stylists, Lagavi promises a convenient and seamless shopping experience. Each of their collections offers an opportunity to reimagine plateware, be it with the earthy tones of clay, the sheen from the glaze or a play of lively tones. For instance, Box Turtle and Objectry appeal to the taste of the old school artists while Button Curry offers a splash of brilliant hues. Popup Stone Ceramics, on the other hand, is for those of us who are still young at heart.

That’s not all! They are also committed to creating a positive impact through the use of sustainable, biodegradable and plastic-free packaging that is durable and utilitarian. Conceptualised with simplicity and minimalism, their Boxes provide a climate-conscious solution with an aesthetic allure. At the intersection of circularity and experimentation, the culture of Lagavi revolves around a dialogue between craftsmanship and responsibility for the planet.
