#EDWOWFind: Quill rugs by Nao Tamura for Nanimarquina

Taking a cue from nature’s endless designs, New York and Tokyo based designer Nao Tamura imagined Quill rugs for Spanish rug company Nanimarquina.

Fabricated by local craftsmen in India, each of the handmade rugs is shaped like a leaf but is unique. “When you watch closely, each person creates differently; so every piece varies. A feather or a leaf from the same tree is individualistic – such an apt metaphor too for the artisans and their craft,” elaborates Nao.

The neutral and light toned carpets inject instant warmth into any setting and are offered in three sizes.
