#EDWOWFind: Miniature concrete buildings by Material Immaterial
OCT 23, 2015 | By Aditi Gaitonde
We all have that one thing on our work desk that we fiddle with constantly. Architecture enthusiasts will be rather pleased with this desktop play thing.
Created by architects Nitin Barchha and Disney Davis for the new product design studio Material Immaterial, Spaces is a set of miniature concrete buildings influenced by iconic edifices from the last century – like Le Corbusier’s quintessentially modernist Villa Savoye, Frank Lloyd Wright’s spellbinding Falling water, Oscar Niemeyer’s nation defining Brasilia and Tadao Ando’s exhilarating Church of the Light.
While away time by arranging these blocks in any arrangement on a central community space and appreciating its miniature size and beauty.
