#EDWOWFind: Arne Jacobsen designs inspire stationery collection

JUN 20, 2016 | By Aditi Sharma Maheshwari
Not everyone gets access to the private collections of a famous personality. Tobias Jacobsen, grandson of late Danish designer Arne Jacobsen offered Mette Thomson, founder of product label Design Letters & Friends, to look through his grandfather’s box of designs. Mette was elated; she had previously released a series on Arne’s hand drawn typography. Inside were surprisingly contrasting prints – florals and geometrics – that went on to become an exquisite line. As an ode to him, Two Sides of Arne Jacobsen comprises bowls, mugs, tea towel, bed linen, storage jars, mirrors and stationery. We especially love the monotone journals.
