Understand the concept of motionlessness
Presenting works by Madhu Das, Prathap Modi and Sujith SN, Mapping Stillness aims to chart an aesthetic enquiry around the notion of stillness. Using mediums as diverse as watercolours, woodblocks, woodcut prints and drawings, the displays explore the idea of stillness as more than just a physical condition.

Aman Khanna’s Table Set for One will showcase hand-moulded tableware, objects and sculptures that are at peace with their own imperfections. Displaying over five decades of work by artist Himmat Shah, KNMA will present Hammer on the Square – an exhibition that explores the artist’s contribution to modern Indian art. Greek Myths & its Influence on French Renaissance is a talk by Paroma Chatterjee, from the University of Michigan, who will discuss how the myths affected ancient Greece, their adaptations after the ancient era and how the French Renaissance was informed by the Greek myths.
