Asian Paints ColourNext 2022 — The marquee event unfurls its annual forecast of colours and trends at Grand Hyatt Mumbai

On a benign evening on April 14, the lane leading to Grand Hyatt Mumbai in Santacruz was abuzz with the city’s foremost names in design and architecture, all promenading towards the destination of the hour — Asian Paints ColourNext 2022.
The stage was set and cameras in action as an assemblage of invite-only guests convened at the premier property to raise a toast to the Colour of the Year 2022, trends and Wallpaper of the Year 2022 that set the ball rolling for the rest of the year.
The Colour of the Year 2022— Transcendent Pink —draped the entire venue. Stationed at the sprawling venue were installations and innovative setups that modelled the true meanings of the four trends of the year — We/Us, Hope You’re Well, Solo Commerce and Artify, alongside the Wallpaper of the Year 2022 ‘Lotus and Stilts’.
Other evocative settings included a colourful space carved by World of Nilaya and Jaipur Rugs for craft-forward flooring solutions called Melange collection, engaging and equally intriguing Ink wallpapers realised by Maximiliano Modesti and leading spaces and interior products fashioned by Beautiful Homes.
