Witness the fusion of distinctive designs where interiors meet the sweetness of candies, in a design marvel by Anchal Shamanur, the founder of the creative firm Boketo Interior Concepts. These bedrooms instantly remind one of sweet candies, each wrapped in chicness that is absolutely delicious. The hues of white and copper blend together creating the ultimate drama. The colour pink is irresistible and is adorned with floral motifs and stripes. In the master bedroom, white serves as the canvas for subtle pops of candy-inspired tones. Anchal’s vision bridges the gap between classical charm and contemporary design.

A berry lush dwelling by Attico Homes

Buckle up because this journey into a home called Tranquil Verde located in New Delhi will blow your mind. Designed by principal architects Parnika Kapur Julka, Harshil Kapur and Padmaja Singh of Attico Homes, the daughter’s bedroom is where white, gold, pink and purple waltz together. The mirrors introduce opulent designs, and the gold wardrobes gleam like treasures. Every corner of this room is sprinkled in stardust.  

In the spotlight: The vibrant blue painting adds a burst of energy, while the plush pink bed and mirrors contribute to the profusion of character.

Zen ambiance at its peak with Studio Mat

‘Bodhi, a home’ located in Oshiwara, Mumbai was thoughtfully designed by the creative duo Pratha Bhagat and Harsh Soneji of Studio Mat. Filled with brush strokes of mountains, zen energy and everything a cosy room needs, it is an everyday escape from the city’s chaos. From soothing blues in the guest bedroom to the art filled children’s bedroom and  the tropical master bedroom, this home transports one to a world where calmness reigns. With the minimalistic magic of hand-painted wallpapers and mandala art, these rooms are a cosy getaway.

In the spotlight: The fluted panels and arches make every nook of these bedrooms a one-of-a-kind. The rustic wooden panels fuse with the grey canvas as a backdrop for extravagant designs. The mandala art sets the mood in one of these rooms.

The white walls and wooden floorings take one far away from the chaos. Every inch of the room embraces the beauty of nature. Their approach to this space isn’t just creating a room but designing a serene retreat for one’s soul. 

In the spotlight: The monochromatic tone makes the room modern and the soft lighting lets the textures shine making the space a peaceful sanctuary.

The art of being sustainable by Parth Kaneriya Architects 

Designed by Parth Kaneriya of his eponymous firm, this room is where contemporary design meets sustainability.  The fluted walls create the perfect tune for our ears, turning every nook into an art to behold. Every tile in this room exudes grandeur and purpose. The lighting sets a cosy ambiance, and the flutes enhance the visual as the sun’s rays filtered through those sheer fabrics. Earthy tones add warmth to the room. The beige tones bring calmness with it and the black colour adds depth. 

In the spotlight: The fluted wood is the cornerstone of the home, while  marble lends a refreshing coolness. Glass and metal elements add a vintage touch, adding character to the room.

Embracing the dark side with August Eight Designs

A black bedroom that is cosy? It might sound like an oxymoron but this bedroom in the Monochrome Home by August Eight Designs is a living proof that black doesn’t always need to be stark and intimidating. Layering the room with different textures of veneers, glass, metal and fabric creates a soft demeanour.

Vintage loving with Oriental Living

Synchronising the allure and rarity of vintage inside new-age homes can be a design idea worth giving a go! These bedrooms in a Hyderabad home, designed by Oriental Living, take us back in time.

In a world where opulent patterns provide a soothing intrusion, these rooms by The Concrete Story is where conventional designs take a backseat. It’s as though you have woken up in the 19th century nobility, where every detail is a work of art. Originally intended for the daughter, the master bedroom has transformed into a storage marvel with toile wallpapered wardrobes, dainty blue walls and a regal walnut bed. In the parents’ room, curtain-detailed wardrobes and rustic-textured walls exude a slice of French elegance. 

In the spotlight: The parent’s bedroom has curtain details painted inside wardrobes. Textured walls catch rustic light, and Belleven’s bed linen adds a touch of aristocratic French flair.

Designed by Soni Vipul Designs, a beguiling ensemble of three bedrooms swaddle between a duet of moody monochromes and sprightly pastels. This is not all. Sheer fabrics pirouette in the space contrasting with bold textures. It’s literally a marshmallow dream with a pinch of textures.
