Thukral and Tagra‘s installation at Bikaner House called Play Pray is an interactive rendition on the ten avatars on Lord Vishnu.

The audience exists within the installation as either a participant or observer and asks them to reconsider the idea of God through the metaphor of a game. The work blends history, storytelling and theatre, making for an interesting game of ping pong.

It questions the way we think of God and also the way people get stuck in a rut of prayers. The art is up for interpretation and means different things to observers.
