At Sabha in Bengaluru, Cocoon Fine Rugs celebrated fifteen years of design and craftsmanship alongside ELLE DECOR India. The restored heritage venue became the setting for a gathering that honoured the brand’s legacy, as well as its role in shaping conversations around contemporary Indian design.
Rugs in India have always anchored change. They shift with culture, absorbing new ideas and influences while preserving the rhythm and memory of handwoven craft. Architects, designers and collectors gathered to explore Cocoon’s multivaried interpretations of this very storied craft. Fifteen iconic rugs from the Luxe Collection were displayed, each one tracing an idea through weave and form. The showcase reflected Cocoon’s belief that design is built through process, where every knot holds intent.
The evening also marked the debut of Cocoon’s Pret Collection. The new line introduced a lighter, more flexible expression while staying rooted in handwoven technique.
