Timothy Oulton’s brilliant vintage inspired furniture, now available at Tarun Vadehra

British eponymous brand Timothy Oulton famed for its vintage inspired furniture opens doors to its first gallery in the country in collaboration with Tarun Vadehra Interiors Private Limited. We loved how Timothy Oulton’s flair for juxtaposing the classic with the contemporary is apparent in the various collections showcased in the Tarun Vadehra showroom at Defence Colony, New Delhi.

Before the launch last week, we had a quick chat with the brand’s founder Timothy Oulton, who expressed his interest in India and this association. “Our furniture is not for the faint-hearted. Tarun Vadehra has never done a partnership in four decades; so I feel honoured. We would like to develop the business in India and Mumbai would be our next obvious city to expand the brand in the country; hopefully in the coming two years,” he adds.

Amit Vadehra of Tarun Vadehra Interiors revealed, “Five years ago while we were at Maison & Objet Paris, we came across Timothy Oulton’s booth. This is exactly the kind of stuff we love…the way we would like our house to be. We loved the materials especially how the solid wood has been incorporated.”
