This restaurant’s design will leave you light-headed

Imagine walking into an eatery that looks as inebriated as you – this is Sotally Tober where the decor matches your weekend spirit. Planned by Dhaval Shellugar and Farah Ahmed of FADD Studio, this 5,000 sq ft space was inspired by the name of the place itself. While its facade reveals hanging chairs bolted to a metal flange, the interiors resemble a Jackson Pollock artwork with splatter paint effects on the walls and ceiling. Since the entire shell was coloured blue, grey and white, complementary shades were chosen for the custom chairs.
FADD Studio and Bengaluru based lighting brand The Purple Turtles created lamps from kitchen accessories – illuminated mason jars, baking trays and teapots suspend from the ceiling. For Farah and Dhaval, the goal was simple: “We wanted to create something unique, that cannot be repeated even by us!”
