The range draws inspiration from floral patterns and the works of the famed British textile designer William Morris. The collaboration covers three collections a year for the next two years. This will include several products across home linen. Suneet Varma has recently launched the Enchanted Forest collection of bed linen in collaboration with Bombay Dyeing.

Imagination knows no bounds. It transcends boundaries and even time. Proof of this lies in ace fashion designer Suneet Varma’s new collection of bed linen for Bombay Dyeing. His second foray into the home decor segment sees him experimenting with textiles in a different genre entirely – home linen.“About 10 months ago Bombay Dyeing contacted me for a collaboration. For me, this partnership needed to be for a slightly longer period of time, as I put in a lot of time for its research. So, we are doing three collections a year for the next two years. It will cover various aspects of home linen – from shower curtains to table runners and towels,’ reveals the EDIDA India 2016 Kitchen winner. His Enchanted Forest range is a complete set in itself and consists of several pieces to complete the bedroom. “Each set has a bedsheet, four pillow covers and duvets in 300 count cotton. I’ve treated them more as a canvas. Bombay Dyeing usually does rotary printing but for the first time, they have tried digital printing, which allows interesting placements and multiple combinations and permutations of the same pattern,” Suneet explains.Currently, the first collection is up for sale and the second, Suneet promises will be on shelves soon. We can’t wait to look at what this extremely talented creative has conjured up next!Website: www.suneetvarma.in; www.bombaydyeing.comAlso read: Know all about our EDIDA India 2016 winners!
