If he finally put a ring on it, and a dreamy Mughal-esque destination wedding comes to mind, you should roam the historical streets of Mehrauli for inspiration. While gazing at the Qutub Minar, you may stumble upon bright embroidered jumpsuits and flowing lehengas peeking through the windows of The Wedding Shop by Ogaan.
Step in to be greeted by high arches and embellished walls with terrazzo floor tiles, creating Ogaan’s signature minimalistic theme of ivory and gold. Designed by Alina Vadera from AVA Studio, the 1650 sq ft store features white washed walls interrupted by watercolour folding screens and green planters. Inspired by the store’s surrounding antiquity, Alina says that “an open plan with a firebrick vaulted ceiling in the center was our response to Mehrauli’s history”.
Visit the store to find a destination wedding fit for a Mughal princess.
