Cold winds, pale skies, barren trees – take cue from a frosty winter landscape for your next home makeover. Keep your space warm and snuggly with rugs fluffier than snow. Pick up woollen throws and duvets in pastel shades to stay toasty on the chilliest days. Let shades of ivory, faint blue and pale grey dominate interiors through bleached walls, glossy ceramics and monochrome accents.
We also recommend adding small doses of burnished silver to complement the pallid tones in your home. Metallic tableware also makes for the perfect setup for a high tea and will induce warmth to counter frigidity. Pair antiquated wares with novel ones to revive a feeling of nostalgia and create a winter wonderland.
