India Design ID is the only event you need to attend this February

CLOCKWISE, FROM LEFT Alain Passard is a French Chef and Owner of the three Michelin starred restaurant, L'Arpège in Paris. Passard's seasonal menu is sourced locally and emphasises organic produce - with vegetables in the limelight; Asian Paints' COO, Amit Syngle, is the man behind India’s only research based colour trend prediction system; Anubhav Gupta currently serves as the Chief Design Officer, Business Head Vikhroli and Head of CSR and Sustainability at real estate giant Godrej Properties Limited, while also being a licensed architect in India; Anuja Gupta is the Co-Founder and Design Creative Director at decor brand Apartment9 and has been honoured with an EDIDA in the categories of Furniture Design and Interior Design; Gunjan Gupta's work borders between design and art with a unique philosophy that captures the cultural narrative and paradoxes of India.
CLOCKWISE, FROM LEFT Having more than 10 years of experience in the furniture industry, Nagbhushan Hegde is a professional industrial designer. He is currently working as a Designer at Godrej and Boyce in Mumbai, India; Manish Gulati is the Founder and Creative Director at Manifestation of Fluid Architecture (MOFA), which has, under his leadership, won close to 50 International and National Design awards; Mukul Goyal is the Principal Designer and Director at Designwise India Pvt. Ltd, a renowned design studio. With two and a half decades of experience, he has managed to carve out a unique brand for himself that is quirky and innovative; Parmesh Shahani is the Head of the Godrej India Culture Lab, and has also authored the book, Gay Bombay: Globalization, Love and (Be)Longing in Contemporary India, and serves as the Editor-at-Large for Verve magazine; The Creative Director of Preciosa Lighting, Michael Vasku, creates stunning chandeliers with precise design, who believes the only thing required to create is to understand the history and context of a design.
CLOCKWISE, FROM LEFT Javier Mariscal's creativity spans across all mediums, from paintings and sculpting to furniture design and animation; Pramiti Madhavji is the Editorial and Content Director at Ogaan Media, and was also a founding editor of ELLE DECOR India 17 years ago; Ron Arad is an Israeli architect and designer. For more than 25 years he has worked on the thin dividing line between industrial design and contemporary art; A prominent business woman and one of the most revered personalities in the hospitality industry; Priya Paul is the creative powerhouse behind the contemporary luxury boutique hotels – The Park Hotel; Neil Harbisson is an official cyborg, who can listen to colour. He is also the Co-Founder of the Cyborg Foundation, an organization that promotes the use of cybernetics as a body part to extend human senses and perception.
CLOCKWISE, FROM LEFT Ross Lovegrove is a designer and visionary who has been extensively published and exhibited internationally including the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Guggenheim Museum NY amongst others; Mumbai-based creative Rooshad Shroff uses unusual materials and techniques for his designs that range from interior design and decoration to product design and architecture; Sabyasachi Mukherjee is among India’s most successful fashion designers, whose creations evoke intricate images of the medieval ages; Roshini Vadehra is the Director of Vadehra Art Gallery. She has a B.A. in Business Administration from Boston University, and is currently a patron at the Guggenheim museum, amongst other foundations; Salil Sadanandan is the Managing Director of India at kitchen and bath brand Kohler and also the President for South Asia and EMEA at Kohler.
CLOCKWISE, FROM LEFT Currently working as the COO at CJ International Hotels, a group that manages Le Meridien New Delhi, Tarun Thukral's true passion remained collecting vintage cars. He started the Heritage Transport Museum and contributed his own collection to it; Theron Carmine de Sousa is the Director of Ferry Wharf Communications and Consulting LLP, a brand strategy and communications firm; Zarine Khan is a foodie, star wife and a super mom, who began her career as an interior designer and continues to have a discerning clientele; Massimiliano Fuksas, alongside Doriana Fuksas, leads Studio Fuksas. He has been one of the main protagonists of the contemporary architectural scene since the eighties; Zafar Chaudhary is a Partner at Habitat Architects, and he specializes in high-end residential, hospitality and commercial projects.
CLOCKWISE, FROM LEFT Sameep Padora is the Principal Architect and Founder of Mumbai based studio, sP+a, as well as Director of sPare, a research initiative that focuses on urbanization and architecture in India; Simone Arora is an Indian designer who launched her own luxury decor brand "Simone" in 2014. Extremely passionate about her work, Simone's forte is color and combinations with a subtle and universal style; Simon Vélez created vegetal steel - cement injected into chambers of bamboo. He works mostly in rural architecture, and believes architecture needs to be more vegetarian; Suman Kanodia founded luxury decor brand Scarlet Splendour in 2014, alongside Ashish Bajoria. The brand showcases her eclectic design sensibilities and modern taste; Sussanne Khan founded The Charcoal Project in 2011 which is a unique design concept store. She firmly believes that luxury is an emotion and design is her tool.

The celebrated architect has gone on to win the Japan Institute of Architects Award and the Good Design Gold Prize in 1997 and 2013; Artist Jenny Bhatt's colourful artwork has been displayed at more than 15 solo exhibitions and numerous group exhibitions, in India and abroad.
