#EDDesignerFind: Sabyasachi’s holiday collaboration with Pottery Barn

Animal salad plates. Sabyasachi for Pottery Barn range of tableware. Set of 5 bottles. Trinket Tray collection.
It’s that time of the year again – loud meals with friends and family, presents wrapped in glossy paper and the hustle and bustle to dress your space for the festive season. This is why fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee’s first venture into home decor, his collaboration with American retail chain Pottery Barn, couldn’t have come at a better time.
With an eclectic mix of over 50 pieces including bedding, jewellery boxes, holiday ornaments, embroidered pillows and rugs, the Sabyasachi for Pottery Barn collection presents a wide range of products, showcasing the designer’s love for vintage textiles and rich artistic traditions of India. Although each offering is a statement piece in itself, the wide array of plates and tabletop accessories, adorned with intricate floral and animal artwork, particularly caught our attention.
We completely understand if you think the plates are too pretty to place food on, though. In that case, you can simply display them as decoratives on a wall!
