We are hot with “yellow” fever. And why not! Our colour forecast for not just traditional winter weddings but also interiors call for bright sunshine with a twist of lemon. Undoubtedly borrowed from Indian ceremonies, turmeric yellow is warm and uplifting, thanks to its sunny disposition. We think haldi hue works well in a wide variety of spaces because it versatile and vibrant…plus what better way to start the wedding season!
We suggest revitalise your bookshelf with a sprinkling of bright yellow – fill it with your most read titles and accessories in the sunny shade. Intermix it with clear and stone hued curios for a balanced space.
Alternately, you can awash your boudoir in bright, peppy tones of molten gold for a warm, comforting snooze. Play with textures and prints – floral, geometric and graphics – to break the monotony. If you like to be less audacious, use neutral hues as a backdrop.
Whether you opt for inundate your bedroom with this hue or accentuate staid interiors with haldi latte accents, let spring usher into your home this monsoon.
