An Airbnb room that replicates Van Gogh’s painting!

APR 28, 2016 | By Aditi Gaitonde
How would you like to sleep inside one of the most famous paintings of our time? The Art Institute of Chicago’s exhibit “Van Gogh’s Bedrooms”, featuring 36 of his works, is an intensive study of the Dutch painter’s relentless quest for home. They even recreated a life sized boudoir exactly as depicted in his post-impressionist artwork, complete with his signature brush strokes.
Best part? Airbnb lets you and a guest rent the room for only $10 a night. We love that the replica of Vincent’s beloved space gets every minute detail right, including the beige hat on the coat rack and those mildly skewed frames on the wall.
