Looking for refreshing your dining room decor but are constrained by the lack of space? We bring to you some of our favourite compact dining rooms from these cosy bijou homes, ranging from a monochromatic to a vibrant colourful space or from a contemporary design to a rustic timeless style in our June- July issue that will make you want to throw a dinner party.Bengaluru Apartment by Vinita ChaitanyaIn a contemporary apartment modelled with a clean and joyful mood board by Vinita Chaitanya, this elegant dining room features a Poliform Concorde dining table, Cattelan Italia Musa chairs and a stunning Patrizia Garganti chandelier.Mumbai apartment by Jason Wadhwani of Jason Wadhwani Design StudioArchitect Jason Wadhwani explored a monochromatic theme for this upscale and bespoke abode. The dining area in the house showcases a number of artworks, lush plants and lighting accessories from Flos All furniture pieces—including the black PU bar unit, dining table and chairs and the zebra-striped sideboard—are designed by Jason Wadhwani, who also conceptualised the whole abode.Russian abode by Interior Designer Anna MuravinaAnna Muravina transformed her compact, sea facing holiday home into a nautical inspired, all turquoise space. In the dining room, A marble and wood dining table from Mis en Demeure is surrounded by vintage chairs from Repeat Story. Diana Balashova’s decorative panels for Gzhel highlight the nautical theme of Anna’s seaside holiday home in Russia.Hyderabad dwelling by Hameeda and Aamir Sharma of AANDHTrust the tropics to lend you design inspiration to spruce up any space. We are absolutely crushing on this bespoke dining table with cane chairs, all by AH Studio, which is seen against tropical wallpaper panels sourced from Seasons in this Hyderabad-based apartment by Hameeda and Aamir Sharma of AANDH. Mumbai dwelling by reD ArchitectsLeaving a pure confluence of select materials in their true form, this decadent home project by reD Architects focuses on peeling away one’s “affected” layers and creating a timeless abode. The dining area, conceptualised by reD Architects ( @redrajiv ), is illuminated using a statement Foscarini lamp from vis à vis. The use of teak wood and limestone as continuous flooring across the house sets a spartan yet consciously crafted tone.Grab our Jube-July issue for more dining inspiration which is on stands now!
