The 430-year-old French manufacturer Saint-Louis enters the Indian market in an exclusive partnership with Emery Studio

Saint-Louis, the iconic French manufacturer of crystal and glass, launched their new store in the capital city, bringing with them 430 years of expertise. The brand enters India in an exclusive partnership with Emery Studio, founded by Mandeep Singh. As part of the launch, Jerome de Lavergnolle, CEO of Saint-Louis visited the capital city on November 29, 2019.
The brand also unveiled one of its iconic collections, ‘Royal’, where each piece is a symbol of fine craftsmanship and exclusivity. Part of the famous French Hermès Group, Saint-Louis is a globally renowned brand, with a presence in 65 countries, and has collaborated with designers like Kiki Van Eijk, Paola Navone and José Lévy. The brand offers a wide spectrum of lighting designs, from chandeliers to photophores. Pieces by the brand, which are crafted by master glassblowers and cutters, who are considered among the best in France.
Years of honing required skills, along with knowledge passed through generations has enabled them to craft both classical and contemporary pieces to perfection. Saint-Louis has over the years, created some awe-inspiring collections that have become a cornerstone of their identity. From the ‘Thistle’ collection in 1908 to the ‘ Les Endiablés’ in 2016, the brand continues to innovate.
The skill of the craftsmen of Saint-Louis has given them the opportunity to create designs that take inspiration from, and pay homage to art movements, from the Restoration to Art Deco. Saint-Louis, as a brand, seeks to meet customer requirements in all ways and offers a semi-bespoke and made-to-order service. The former allows for customisation of their work, while the latter allows for adaptation of designs to suit the customer’s wishes. The brand has gained international repute, with its creations becoming objects of desire. Their pieces, especially their limited edition paperweights, have caught the eye of collectors such as Jeanne Lanvin and Colette, and continue to be prized to this day.
