We bring forth three beautiful bedrooms from our April-May 2019 issue replete with chic colours, gorgeous accents and even sleek finishing touches. If you’re searching for inspiration, we have unearthed what you’ve been looking for!

A lavish and organic styled main bedroom, attached with a bathroom done up with micro-cement finished walls and teakwood furniture, is a glimpse into redefined living. Designed by architects Deepak Guggari and Rashi Sanson, VDGA Architects, pick stunning traditional artefacts like Mata ni pachedi artworks and Gond tribal paintings handpicked from different regions over time enhance the individuality of the house. Palette of earthy materials is broken by coloured fabrics, rugs and artwork in the bedroom.
Coastal Living: Cricket legend Jonty Rhodes’s Cape Town home is a vibrant, tactile space befitting their globetrotting lifestyle and love for the ocean. The spaces within the house were reconfigured to isolate the upper level for privacy with the bedrooms sporting a splendid view of the ocean. Rethinking these traditional areas anew has made for a fresh, dynamic layout suited to a young, growing family.
Monolithic Aura: The daughters’ bedrooms are set in a monolithic theme, using an oak and concrete material palette. The family home aesthetics blends effortlessly into the modern silhouettes. “ Although it is contemporary, I would still call it comforting.” asserts Kanan Modi of Kanan Modi associates.
