The Nouvo Residence by DCA Architects

Delhi based architecture and interior design firm DCA Architects have created an outdoorsy look and feel for the bathroom in the Nouvo Residence in the capital city. The home is spread across four floors and features a vintage aura that incorporates contemporary trends. We love the bathing area in this home for it is abound with natural light and verdant views. A ceramic tub sits on wood finished flooring against a glass panelled wall. Minimal yet classy this bathroom is definitely a luxury space.

Apartment crafted by CTDC Architects
Crafted by Mumbai based CTDC Architects, this almost 5,000 sq ft abode has a bathroom that’s designed to give the owner an experience akin to bathing at the Ritz Carlton. Opting for a classic yet dramatic monochromatic theme, this space is replete with opulence. The bathroom is conceptualised with handmade onyx basins with gold and black shades. Here, surfaces feature captivating charcoal and gold muted marble and brass inlays and are paired with black mirrors—all of which are illuminated by bespoke lighting. Glossy gold-tinted fixtures from Kohler add to the luxury motif of this bathing space.

Indie House by Studio Wood

Delhi and Mumbai based Studio Wood designed Indie House with an aim to build a space that highlighted the inclusion of Indian crafts in a contemporary fashion. A stroll through the home leads to our stylish bathroom pick—a space with popping blue tiles from Keramos that are set against white walls. The metallic basin sits on a wooden deck, near which are gold-finished bath fixtures and a wooden candle holder all of which are from Kohler.

The Rock by Kham Consultants
Helmed by Monica Khosla Bhargava of Kolkata based Kham Consultants, The Rock Villa in Kolkata is a spacious home. Sleek light vents highlight the stony wall of the abode. Rock and wooden influences continue into the bathroom with timber panelling, windows and a basin carved out of stone. It also features a seating area and plants for a nature-inspired appeal.

Kalos by Massimo Iosa Ghini for Devon&Devon

We found this fabulous bath setup at Devon&Devon’s showcase at Cersaie 2019. Designer Massimo Iosa Ghini created Kalos, a washbasin with a mirror by modernising retro elements. A large, circular mirror hangs naturally over the basin against the lightly textured, sea green wall.
