The Nilaya Salon, designed by Pavitra Rajaram

The Nilaya Salon at Good Earth, Mumbai is all kinds of #DecorInspo

by Reecha Kulkarni Aug 24, 2017 The Good Earth store at Raghuvanshi mills, Mumbai transformed itself into a contemporary take on the Silk Route, for the launch of The Nilaya Salon. In association with ELLE DECOR India and Asian Paints, the event gathered the design elite for the unveiling of Nilaya’s special collection of wallpapers designed by Good Earth.

Inspired by the landscapes of the ancient trade roads, the wallpapers feature prints from the roses at Charbagh and fantastical elements from Xanadu and Palmyra. Designer Pavitra Rajaram integrated the various prints into the six room salon, which will be on permanent display at the store.

Exclusively for the event in association with ELLE DECOR last evening, a mint green bathroom setup by Neterwala & Aibara, a living room display by Shroffleon and vertical bedrooms in The 9 Room House by Note-D accompanied the salon highlighting the Silk Route range.

While guests explored grandeur elements in the salon and the various creative setups, cocktails flowed from The Tasting Room, along with scrumptious cheese platters and appetisers. If your invite got lost in the mail, you may have missed the setups, but you can visit the gorgeous salon at the store for some decor inspiration.
